Greene County Wireless Partnership

The Greene County IDA in partnership with long time local telephone provider State Telephone Company and local computer company NorDutch, together offer wireless internet service to the Greene Business and Technology Park and Kalkberg Commerce Park.

Greene County IDA has sought funding and coordination, NorDutch provides the wireless technical installation and management and State Telephone provides the fiber-optic backhaul and access to the web.

This partnership was created to provide wireless internet coverage to both business parks on Route 9W and has expanded to cover the Coxsackie Riverside Park area, Coxsackie Yacht Club, New Baltimore Park & the Shady Harbor Marina area. Plans are being made to further the coverage area.
